So we all know how much you love the show, but how many of you would actually want to be IN the show? Auditions are being held right here at the theater later this month. Just do me one favor. If you are lucky enough to be cast in this wonderful new production, promise me you'll swing by my office every now and then to help with this blog :0)

For The Glory (formerly titled The Civil War on Broadway and on tour) will be presented at The Majestic Theater in Gettysburg, PA for a 12 week run -8 shows/week.
The style and feel of For The Glory is that of a musical documentary where the performers tell their individual stories and experiences through song. Many of these songs are based on historical documents, letters and diary entries of those affected by our nations greatest and bloodiest conflict. Seeking the following for principal and Ensemble roles:
African-American men and women ages 20s-40s who are authentic gospel/r and b singers
Caucasian men ages 20s-30s who are authentic pop/country singers.
Caucasian women age 20s who are authentic country/pop singers.
African-American performers should sing a short gospel or r and b song
Caucasian male performers should sing a short pop/rock/country song.
Caucasian women should sing a short country song.
May sing from the show.
Cast recordings and vocal selections are available.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:MUSICAL THEATRE SELECTIONS ARE NOT APPROPRIATE FOR THESE AUDITIONS.
Auditions will be held March 25th at the Majestic Theater in downtown Gettysburg. ( see http://www.gettysburgmajestic.org for directions). Sign up will begin at 10:30. Auditions start at 11:00 am, all who will be auditioning should arrive at this time.
