Wardrobe, Sets and a Day Off

The stage hands have been working their asses off getting this set together and I've got to tell you, it looks fantastic. I see it every day from behind when I come in to work, but I finally took a look at it from the front yesterday and was simply blown away. You will all be amazed when you see this show.

They were working on wardrobe when I came in today. Caught a couple of them walking around in costume. It was interesting to say the least. I'm just wondering how I can steal Tads hat without anyone knowing it was me....

Finally, a much deserved day off for the cast. I've got to tell you, these folks are busting their butts to get this show together. And they truly are a great bunch of people. I've been lucky enough to hang out with some of them and it just amazes me. I've worked in theaters before that were full of assorted stereo types and varying degrees of ego, but these guys really are a fantastic crew. I'll try to get them to stop by to say hello soon.

Cheers!
Amanda

Thanks for all the info. I'm a very big fan of The Civil War - now For the Glory. Saw the show 5 times on broadway and once in Hershey. Love it! I'm especially looking forward to seeing Michael Lanning, Keith Byron Kirk and most especiallly Rob Evan. I have tickets for June 30th but hope that it will be the first of a few trips to Gettysburg to see this show. Good luck to all! Can't wait
